U.S Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) Commander Admiral John. C. Aquilino who is currently in the country paid a courtesy call to the Commander Republic of Fiji Military Forces Major-General (Maj-Gen) Ro Jone Kalouniwai at the Strategic Headquarters in Berkley Crescent today (31st January. 2023).

As part of the visit, Admiral Aquilino’s was accorded a ceremonial quarter guard before he was traditionally welcomed at the Officers mess at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks.

Speaking during the traditional welcoming ceremony, Admiral Aquilino said that he was honored to visit Fiji and that it was important to meet with his counterparts and strengthen the relationship that exists between the INDOPACOM and RFMF.

Admiral John C. Aquilio is the 26th Commander of the USINDOPACOM, the nation’s oldest and largest combatant command. USINDOPACOM includes approximately 380,000 personnel and is responsible for all U.S military activities in the Indo-Pacific region.
