U.S Ambassador visits CRFMF

United States Ambassador to Fiji Her-Excellency (H.E) Marie Damour paid a courtesy visit to the Commander Republic of Fiji Military Forces Major-General (Maj-Gen) Ro Jone Kalouniwai yesterday at the RFMF Headquarters in Suva.

H.E Damour emphasized the United State’s commitment to the Pacific and recognizes the RFMF’s role in peacekeeping. In return, the Commander expressed his sincere appreciation for the continuous support rendered by the US government to Fiji’s defence sector in particular the RFMF.

The visit is the first for H.E Damour after her appointment in August last year.

Upon her arrival at the HQ, Her-Excellency Marie Damour was accorded a quarter guard by the Third Battalion Fiji Infantry Regiment (3FIR).
