Deputy Commander Republic of Fiji Military Forces Brigadier General Mohammed Aziz while officiating at the opening address of the ‘Staff and Tactics Course Grade III 1/16’at the Officers Training School at Vatuwaqa in Suva on Monday 26 September 2016, welcomed all the participants on the 11-week long training.
“The aim of the staff and tactics grade three is to prepare you all for responsibilities of command and leadership of the military forces at operational level in a joint operation environment. The desired end-state is to eventually enhance your interpretation of the superior and higher
commanders’ intent both in war and peacetime within the context of Battalion and Brigade level operation,” Brigadier Aziz stressed to participants.
Brigadier Aziz reiterated that to be effective commanders, one had to abide by the rules and regulations established.
“As officers, you must take great account of the rules governing the officer corp and indeed show greater concern for the welfare of those you command,” Brigadier Aziz emphasized.
