RFMF Staffs Wins Taekwondo Medals

Three members of the Republic of Fiji Military Force (RFMF) representing Fiji in the Ocenia Taekwondo Competition at the Vodafone Arena on the 26^th to the 27^th of November 2016 scooped a medal each after the tournament.

The team led by Grand Master Captain Tevita Korovou visited the Commander RFMF (CRFMF) Rear-Admiral Viliame Naupoto to present their winnings from the match. CRFMF Rear-Admiral Naupoto congratulated the players and advised them to hold on to everything they have learnt and the experience playing in a bigger competition.

In the 79 Kg Category Timoci Rodan won gold while Sakiusa Tuva won silver medal. However, Josefa Otterberch also won gold in the 68 Kg. All of the players belong to the Personnel Security Detail (PSD) Unit under the Third Fiji Infantry Regiment (3FIR).
