August 4, 2016The Republic of Fiji Military Forces has had a boost in the up-skilling of its ranks with the recent graduation of four officers studying in military academies in China.
Being the first officer in the RFMF to have graduated with a Bachelors of Science and Technology in Weaponry, Lieutenant Losalini Rokosuka has just returned from the Army Officer Academy (formerly known as the Artillery Academy) in Hefei, Anhui Province, Peoples Republic of China.
Lieutenant Rokosuka spent the past 4 years studying in China to be the first female officer to qualify as a weapons specialist in the RFMF.
Two other senior officers Major Amelia Tadu and Major Simione Tuinabavatu graduated from the Nanjing Army Command College in Nanjing.
Another senior officer, Lieutenant Colonel Silipa Vananalagi also graduated from the College of Defense Studies, at the National Defense University in China.
