RFMF Coral Warriors Help With Flood Assist In NSW

Our Engineers personnel, part of the RFMF Coral Warrior composite platoon, have been put into good use joining forces with their counterparts in the Australian Defence Force 2nd Combat Regiment (2CER) based in Gallipoli Barracks, Brisbane. They have constructed a log road and two footbridges for Operation Flood Assist 2022 in northern NSW.

Their work has been applauded, receiving positive feedback from the ADF leadership as well as from the community at large for all the assistance rendered.

On Sunday 20^th March 2022, the Padre for 8/9 RAR conducted a church service for the Fijian troops. The team also conducts its own devotion daily in the morning and evening.

In addition, a touch rugby match was organized by the local community in which our boys took part and ended with a BBQ to thank the men and women for their efforts.

COVID-19 tests were conducted for all 8/9 RAR and #RFMF troops and results all came out negative. The team will soon be back on the road to complete the work in the mountains.
