The French Navy Ship D’Entrecasteaux arrived in Fiji and berthed at the Suva wharf on Sunday 12 March 2017. The French Navy patrol ship which often called the “Swiss Army Knife of the Navy” will be in Fiji for a three day visit. Captain of the Ship Lt Cmder Benoit Barrller is visiting Fiji to meet his counterparts to exchange ideas on operations. The Captain of the D’Entrecasteaux French Navy Ship also paid a courtesy visit to the Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Force, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto at Berkley Crescent.
