The Japanese Ambassador to Fiji accompanied the Japanese Maritime Self Defence (JMSD) training crew for a wreath laying ceremonyย on Monday 26th August 2019.
His Excellency Masahiro Omura, the Training Squadron Commander, Rear Admiral Daisuke KAJIMOTO, Officers and crew membersย of JMSD Vessels KASHIMA and INAZUMA visited the Fiji National War Memorial to pay tribute for the Fijian soldiers’ bravery who had paid the ultimate price in war and in peacekeeping missions for the effort of global peace.
The Ambassador of Japan HE OMURA and Rear Admiral KAJIMOTO on behalf of the visiting crew saluted and laid their wreaths during the wreath laying ceremony.
