DCRFMF visited the Coral Warrior team in Brisbane

The Deputy Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (DCRFMF) – Commodore (Cmdre) Humphrey Tawake visited the Coral Warrior Team in Gallipoli Barracks on Palm Sunday (10th April 2022), the team were most fortunate and grateful to have him as a father figure which made their Sunday more special.

The Commanding Officer 8/9 Royal Australian Regiment (8/9 RAR) Lieutenant Colonel John Eccleston received Cmdre Tawake and took him on a guided tour around the vicinity with the Officer Commanding Alpha Major Slansky. DCRFMF had the opportunity to see the troops in training and also viewed the training facility on base.

7th Brigade hosted the DCRFMF for a lunch and he was joined by the Commander 1st Division Major General Scott Winter where they had a good discussion on the developments, training and partnership between #ADF and #RFMF.
