RFMF Officers Graduate from Grade 3 Course

December 20, 2019The Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (CRFMF), Rear-Admiral (RADM) Viliame Naupoto and his wife Lilian Naupoto attended the Third Battalion Fiji Infantry Regiment (3FIR) Golf-Company church service at Vanua Levu on the 15 December 2019.
As part of the visit to the north, the Commander together with other officers of the RFMF took with them the prestigious Sukuna Bowl Tanoa and the International Defence Rugby Competition trophy to show what the RFMF has accomplished in 2019.
In his speech to the members of the RFMF present, the Commander thanked each soldier for the hard on effort that was given this year.
“I want to share my appreciation for the good work you have done this year. This year is a very special year to all of us. If you look hard enough you will find all the wealth and good things you have shown during the year 2019”. RADM Naupoto said.
RADM Naupoto also highlighted on the progress that the RFMF has been experiencing this year which includes the solid relationship which has been built with Defence partners around the world which has resulted in the donations of modern equipment’s, construction of Black Rock Camp, the inclusion of several vessels for the Fiji Navy and the new medical set-up at George Mate Medical Centre in Queen Elizabeth Barracks.
In addition to this, RADM Naupoto also shared a few sentiments with the members of the Golf-Company family which includes the message that he emphasized to the Sukuna Bowl Rugby team as they prepared for the game last month.
“To complete my speech this afternoon I will give you the three key words that I relayed to members of the Sukuna Bowl main team before the Sukuna Bowl competition. Preparation, Obedience and Attentiveness is merely the same and thirdly is giving thanks. I told the team that it all starts with God. If we need our work to be good start with God.” RADM Naupoto concluded.
RADM Naupoto also acknowledged the participation of family members and the territorial force soldiers during the church service and wished them all the best for the festive season.
