New sets of musical instruments were received earlier this month by the RFMF Band. The Director of Music RFMF Band, Major Meli Bulitiliva said that the new equipments will enhance and better the quality of music produced by the band.
“These are quality musical instruments that produce sound of much better quality than that we previously had. Especially in a tropical climate country like ours, we [RFMF Band] will be expected to play regardless of weather,” Maj Bulitiliva said.
The new equipments as stated by the Director were requested prior to the Queen’s Birthday tour but however came in late; nonetheless, he thanked the Commander RFMF and Senior Officers for their support to get in the instruments before the Fiji Day Independence Parade.
