December 5, 2024The Force Sergeant Major (FSM) of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF), WOI Joeli Nayaca Rabuli, held a landmark meeting with his counterpart from the French Armed Forces during an official visit to Paris. The discussions focused on strengthening military collaboration in leadership development, troop welfare, and enhancing operational synergy, particularly in peacekeeping missions. The meeting also emphasized joint efforts in humanitarian assistance and disaster response (HADR), a critical area of shared interest for both forces.
WOI Rabuli highlighted the importance of the engagement, emphasizing the mutual benefits of exchanging ideas and best practices. His French counterpart commended the RFMF’s professionalism and significant contributions to global peacekeeping, underscoring the value of closer collaboration. Both leaders agreed to explore new opportunities for training exchanges and operational partnerships that would enhance the capabilities of their respective forces while addressing common security challenges.
