At the Spellman Range, South Camp, the Fiji Contingent (FIJICON Batt41), part of the Multinational Forces in Sinai, conducted a two-day live firing practise. The Second Battalion Fiji Infantry Regiment (2FIR) was put to the test on the 17th and 18th of April, 2023, during live firing training with their standard-issue rifles.
On April 19, the contingent performed Battle PT (Physical Training) around the perimeter of South Camp to get ready for the approaching RFL (Required Fitness Level) test.
These are lead-ups to the next Operational Readiness Check, which will be carried out by LIEUTENANT COLONEL Saula Koro, Commander of FIJICON Batt 41, to mark six months of their tour of service.
