The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) and the New Zealand Defence Force (NZDF) held its annual bilateral defence talks today at the Grand Pacific Hotel. Hosted by NZDF, Captain [Navy] Simon Griffiths who is the Director Strategic Engagement headed the NZDF delegation.
The Permanent Secretary (PS) for Defence delivered opening remarks at the commencement of the Talks and conveyed the greetings of the Honorable Minister for Defence. The RFMF delegation was led by Colonel (Col) Sapenafa Motufaga.
PS Manasa Lesuma, in his remarks had briefed the forum on the Strategic Direction in which the Defence Sector is heading. This was reiterated by Col Motufaga as he led the discussion from the RFMF side.
