February 11, 2021The Commander of the Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto officially opened the Basic All Arms and Section Commander’s course at the Force Training Group (FTG) Duavata Hall in Nasinu on Monday 25th January 2021.
In his opening address, Rear Admiral Naupoto challenged the course participants to continue to seek opportunities for learning as it will enhance and shape their lives in their military career. He added that the two courses were just the beginning of more training in their career and they needed to open their minds to learning.
RADM Naupoto urged the participants to read a lot as it will continue to expand their knowledge. “As leaders, you’re readers, therefore, make use of the various resources that are available such as libraries and the internet.”
Also in attendance were the Commanding Officer Force Training Group Lieutenant Colonel Viliame Draunibaka, Officers and SNCO’s of the school.
More than forty Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCO) and Junior Non-Commissioned Officers (JNCO) are part of the six-week courses.
