September 26, 2020The Acting Commissioner of Police ACP Rusiate Tudravu officially closed the Protected Mobility Vehicle (PMV) Military Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTP) course at the Lololo training area in Lautoka on the18th Friday, September 2020. The PMV TTP course which was conducted for three (3) weeks was aimed at upskilling and upgrading personnel to be well versed with high-value assets both locally and while on peacekeeping duties abroad.
While closing the course, ACP Tudravu acknowledged the RFMF for allowing his men to take part in the course and mentioned that the course will surely enhance various skills and knowledge that is required locally and abroad.
“I would like to extend a deep appreciation to the Commander RFMF for the inclusion of police officers to be part of the training; it is one of the first courses undertaken by the Fiji Police,” ACP Tudravu said.
“We are committed to working alongside RFMF brothers in enhancing security capabilities in the Pacific region through training, Maritime security, humanitarian assistance, and disaster relief…exposure to this level of training with specialized equipment, techniques, and procedures will also help us in various peacekeeping operations.” ACP Tudravu added.
The top student award was awarded to Corporal Siviriano Cokula from the RFMF Engineers Regiment.
