An auspicious Ball Night was held at the Officers mess in Queen Elizabeth Barracks on Friday evening 23 August 2019 to congratulate the 17 newly commissioned officers after achieving a milestone of successfully completing 45 weeks of the cadet officers training.
Present at the Ball Night was the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Commander Rear Admiral Viliame Naupoto, the RFMF Deputy Commander Brigadier General Mohammed Aziz, RFMF Chief of Staff Captain John Fox, Senior officers, officers and invited guest to celebrate the occasion.
The Commander imparted his words of encouragement and congratulated the new officers by welcoming them into the officersโ core of the RFMF. The 17 newly commissioned officers partake with the Commander in the cutting of the cake before the ball dance by the new officers.ย The melodic tune of music by the RFMF Band entertained them later that evening.
