The HMAS Sirius Sailed into Suva Harbour on Saturday 6th July, 2019 with the motto ‘to serve and provide’.
The Captain of the Royal Australian Navy (RAN) vessel, Commander Melanie Verho and crew are visiting the Pacific region as part of their six months comprehensive program. Fiji is the focal point of their journey in the effort of strengthening military ties between Australia and Fiji. Their visit provided an opportunity for the crew to recuperate before they continue their journey.
The Commander of the double – hulled vessel, who is a Bachelor of Arts Degree graduate paid a courtesy call at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces Headquarters today Monday 8th July 2019.
