August 4, 2016A team from the Australian Defence Force led by Commodore Steven Woodle paid a courtesy visit on Wednesday 27 July 2016 at the Head Quarters Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Berkeley Crescent where they were warmly received by RFMF Deputy Commander, Brigadier Mohammed Aziz.
Commodore Woodle was accorded a Quarter Guard followed by a morning tea. The team was later taken on a walking brief tour of Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Nabua. After lunch at the Officers’ Mess, the team was taken on a visit of the RFNS (Republic of Fiji Naval Ship) Viti – the shore establishment at Togalevu outside Suva.
The delegation ended their excursion the following day at Black Rock Nadi where soldiers undergo pre-embarkation training for peacekeeping duties.
