PROTECTIVE MOBILITY VEHICLE COURSE

The Protective Mobility Vehicle (PMV) all corps Drivers Course specifically for Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) drivers was held at the Gallipolli Barracks in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia under the 7^th Brigade Headquarters, from Mon 06 to Fri 24 February 2017.

This is the first group of drivers to qualify to operate PMV. The purpose of this course was to train personnel in the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to operate the protective mobility vehicle as a driver in any situation.

All eighteen course participants were assessed as competent after three weeks of training and were awarded with certificates. Although this is the first PMV course for the RFMF Infantry drivers, the course participants demonstrated a high level of driving skills and all were assessed as competent which indicates that the objectives of the course was fully achieved.
