Families and friends turn out in numbers to witness the changing of guards at the State House as the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) servicewomen took over the Ceremonial Guard duties from the Fiji Police Force (FPF) on Saturday 30th November, 2019.
The change of guard tradition occurs every end of the month whereby both guards are thoroughly trained to shoulder the vital task of maintaining ceremonial security at the presidential premises. Both guards displayed magnificent drill movements during the handover ceremony.
Curious members of the public along with members of both forces were at the State House gate to witness the monthly event.
