In the cold morning of Wednesday 18 December 2019 the Republic of Fiji Military Force First Fiji Infantry Regiment (1 FIR) Taskforce Daimani conducted their winter and last parade of the year at Camp Ziouani, Golan Heights in the boarder of Israel and Syria.
Commanding Officer Lieutenant-Colonel (Lt-Col) Penioni Naliva thanked his troops and acknowledged them for the hard work and effort they portrayed in the past few months. Lt-Col Naliva reminded them to be cautious of their health in the winter period they were enduring and wished them and their families a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
The 1FIR Task Force Daimani personnel had departed our shores for the peacekeeping mission in the Golan Heights on the 19th of October 2019.
