15 newly enlisted Band Company members of the Logistics Support Unit (LSU) marched off the QEB drill square as Bands men & Bands women respectively.
The Commanding-Officer LSU, Major (Maj) Tevita Biudole, reviewed the graduation parade and congratulated the graduates. He also emphasized the importance of military lessons that complement their musical talent as they join the unit and Band Company.
Moreover, during their four-week training period, the graduates learned about LSUโs operations and mechanics. Maj Biudole underlined that the skills they acquired will guide them in their military career.
Additionally, the CO highlighted that the Band Company is the RFMFโs oldest trade, dating back more than a century. He mentioned that the band and RFMF Logistics have participated in all theaters of operations in which the RFMF has been involved.
In his closing remarks, the CO reiterated his Command Philosophy of โDoing the right thingโ every-time and wished the graduates well in the military career.
