February 22, 2022The RFMF Pre Deployment Training (PDT) for personnel earmarked to serve with the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) officially concluded on Friday 26 November at the Lololo Training area.
In his address to officially close the training, Chief Guest Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Tomasi Bulimaibau said he was honoured to be given the opportunity to close the five weeks training.
“It gives me great pride to stand before you, selected men and women, to congratulate you on successfully completing all the PDT requirements,” SSP Bulimaibau said.
“Remember, you are an ambassador for the nation and being in uniform is no easy task. The nation needs your commitment, loyalty, dedication and true allegiance while serving under the noble banner blue.”
Furthermore, SSP Bulimaibau stressed to the draft trainees the importance of adhering to instructions and directives.
Later, the chief guest presented awards of outstanding personal achievements during the PDT to draft trainees.
The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) is a special political mission headed by Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Iraq.
