July 22, 2024In a significant move to support education, the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Wives and Mothers Club has reintroduced a tutorial program that focuses on students of years 5, 7, and 8 at St. Agnes Primary School in Nabua on the 20th of July, 2024.
The program, which aims to enhance the academic performance of students, was officially launched by the Commander RFMF Major-General (Maj-Gen) Ro Jone Kalouniwai and saw the presence of senior officers and warrant-officers of the RFMF.
During the launch, the Commander RFMF commended the RFMF Wives and Mothers Club for their initiative, highlighting its importance as an investment in education.
“Education is one of the cornerstones of the RFMF’s values, and we are here today to reaffirm our commitment to academic success, especially for your future,” Maj-Gen Kalouniwai said.
“We believe, as much as your parents believe, that education offers you a lot in terms of knowledge, skills, and, more importantly, building your character at this very young age. To help you navigate your life towards the future, more importantly, the challenges that you may face as you try to pursue your dreams.”
Maj-Gen Kalouniwai further stressed that the tutorial program, supported through the RFMF regimental fund, underscores the institution’s dedication to supporting education, and urged the students to continue to do their best in school and to make good use of the tutorial program organized by the RFMF Wives and Mothers Club.
The reintroduced tutorial program by the RFMF Wives and Mothers Club is expected to provide additional academic support to students, helping them excel in their studies and prepare for future challenges.
