The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Naval Division

commenced its Navy Week celebrations in honour of its 50th anniversary.

The week-long program began on Monday, 07 July 2025, at the Stanley Brown Naval Base in Walu Bay with the Inter-Ship Navy Skills Competitions. Sailors were assessed on their knowledge and skills in weapon training, rope knots, and theory.

Today’s events continued with an inter-ship drill competition in the morning, showcasing the discipline, coordination, and precision of participating teams. The day concluded with a spirited touch rugby tournament.
