The Parliamentary Standing Committee for Foreign Affairs & Defence visited Blackrock this afternoon. The visit followed the briefing that was done yesterday on the RFMF activities in support of the whole of government approach to COVID 19 response.
The Committee was briefed on the developments of Blackrock and its intended purpose once complete. Officer Commanding for Blackrock Camp, Major Praneel Singh gave the committee insight into the functions and the general layout of the camp.
The committee was later given a tour of the camp accompanied by the Deputy Commander, Commodore Humphrey Tawake and
Director Peace. Support Operations, Colonel Pacolo Luveni.

The visit concluded with a traditional welcoming ceremony.
