This week marked the start of the Veiliutaki Framework Lead Self phase of the RFMF Basic Recruit Course โ€” a vital foundation for the next generation of RFMF soldiers.

As our recruits begin their journey in uniform, they are learning not just military skills but also the ethos and values that define what it means to be a soldier in the RFMF.
By the end of the week, each recruit will have a clear understanding of what it means to Lead selfโ€”to uphold the standards expected of every RFMF soldier:
โœ… Live the RFMF Ethos and Values
โœ… Pursue excellence
โœ… Align with their leaderโ€™s intent
โœ… Exercise sound judgment and decision-making.
โœ… Support their team
But understanding is just the beginning. With it comes the responsibility to live itโ€”every day, in every decision.
Leadership in the RFMF starts with Lead Selfโ€”for every soldier, at every level. Because here, leadership is defined by actions and behaviour.
