March 14, 2023Commander Land Force (CLF) Brigadier-General (Brig-Gen) Onisivoro Covunisaqa addressed all personnel of the Land Force Units today (March 13th, 2023) during his parade at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks (QEB). Brig-Gen Covunisaqa emphasized to those on parade that it was crucial to maintain the highest standard of carrying out their tasks as they were to anticipate heavy workloads of tasks this year.
Brig-Gen Covunisaqa mentioned that in the past few weeks, the RFMF has deployed a few personnel to New Zealand and is awaiting the departure of another 30 personnel who will leave our shores to assist those that have been affected by the two tropical cyclones in Vanuatu. He said that the RFMF will continue to do their best to help our neighbouring countries in the region that have felt the effects of climate change.
CLF Brig-Gen Covunisaqa also thanked the officers, men and women, on parade for their hard work and reminded them to keep continuing.
