November 17, 2022The Commander Joint Task Force Command (JTFC) Brigadier-General (Brig-Gen) Manoa Gadai today launched the first-ever JTFC Command Intent at the Blackrock Military Camp in Nadi. The command intent launched by Brig-Gen Gadai incorporates the commanderโs philosophy, vision, mission, themes, directives, roles and functions.
Speaking during the auspicious event, Brig-Gen Gadai emphasized on the need to be highly motivated in achieving the high standards established in the RFMF, and to understand the critical role of the JTFC in the institution.
“In order for the RFMF to successfully achieve its mandate mission and constitutional role, the JTFC must effectively execute Joint Task Force operations and training for local, regional, and international Humanitarian Assistance Disaster Relief, UN peacekeeping, and SASO deployments,” Brig. Gen. Gadai said.
“The key to our success is to always put the Almighty God first, service before self, initiative, discipline, motivation, teamwork, and to always enforce the RFMFโs high standard. I firmly believe that this will be the essence and cornerstone of us striving to achieve our theme which is to effectively and efficiently posture for any contingency.”
Brig-Gadai also urged those present at the event to learn from past mistakes and to always ensure the five important pillars of putting God first, adhering to the mission, discipline, obedience and doing good.
The RFMF Chaplain Reverend Major Tunidau was also present to bless the auspicious event.
