A courtesy call from the non-resident Ambassador of the State of Israel to Fiji, His Excellency Roi Rosenblit, to the Commander Republic of Fiji Military Forces, Major General Jone Kalouniwai at the RFMF Strategic HQ this morning, Tuesday, April 6th 2022.

The meeting aired a common aspiration of universal peace forged over a history of the RFMFs participation in the Middle East serving as peacekeepers along the borders of Lebanon, Syria and the Sinai Peninsula in Egypt.

Discussions over Humanitarian Assistance raised a keen interest as the CRFMF briefed of his intentions of developing the RFMFs HADR capability and capacity in building resiliency for our communities and the vulnerable. This intent is to reach out seeking partnerships with government agencies, local and international NGOs, defence partners, foreign governments, CSOs and vulnerable communities.

Capitalizing on Israel’s multilateral partnership aspirations within the Pacific Islands to build greener, bluer and resilient communities for regional and global prosperity became a central point of discussion.
