Earlier this week, we began a hydrographic survey conducted by our Deployable Geospatial Survey Team (DGST) in Nawi, Savusavu.

This important survey is designed to ensure safe navigation for all vessels, particularly the increasing number of yachts that choose Savusavu as their port of entry. By charting and updating critical maritime data, our team’s efforts will directly support the safety of mariners and enhance Fiji’s reputation as a premier yachting destination in the Pacific.

In addition to improving navigation, this initiative is part of our broader commitment to strengthening Fiji’s Blue Economy. By promoting safer seas and supporting yacht tourism, the survey contributes to sustainable economic growth, benefits local livelihoods, and supports regional maritime development.
