𝗛𝗼𝗻. 𝗧𝗶𝗸𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗮𝗱𝘂𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗥𝗙𝗠𝗙 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲

The Minister of Home Affairs and Immigration Honorable (Hon.) Pio Tikoduadua today reminded the Republic of Fiji Military Forces on the critical role they play in ensuring the prosperity of Fiji’s future generation. Hon. Tikoduadua had made these comments during his visit to the Queen Elizabeth Barracks as part of a request made by the Commander RFMF Major-General Kalouniwai last month.

While addressing the RFMF, Hon. Tikoduadua said that it was a priority for the government to work with the RFMF in ensuring that its citizens lived in an environment where they are free to express their concerns on certain issues.

Hon. Tikoduadua urged the RFMF not to be swayed easily but to remain steadfast and to protect Fiji’s sovereignty. He said that if freedom and peace is recognized then the RFMF is allowing development, and at the same time ensuring that the future generation of Fiji will stay and continue to develop our nation.

In addition to this, a recent tweet by the Hon. Tikoduadua mentioned that he was “grateful to the Commander RFMF for their commitment to supporting Justice, Human Rights and the Rule of law.”
