The second day of the Indo-Pacific Army Management Seminar (IPAMS) focused on โ€œJoint and combined operations in the Indo-Pacific regionโ€. The plenary discussions were around regional land power network, as well as combined and joint training and exercises, climate security Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief / Peacekeeping Operations with the head of delegations.
The senior enlisted leaders forum focused on addressing the changing role of Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) within the Indo-Pacific strategic environment. Key areas included how to train NCOs culturally, this involved training the next generation of NCOs that would meet upcoming challenges.
Another parallel session was done for spouses group, while they covered the important issues such as womenโ€™s roles in security, women peace and securityโ€”a lens into the regional security landscape, as well as a case study analysing the humanitarian response to Pakistan flooding.
This seminar remains a forum for enhancing understanding across the Indo-Pacific region through collaborative strategies.
