The Director Finance, Logistics and Acquisition (DFLA), Navy Captain Lepani Vaniqi officially opened the ALMS Module 1 โ Food and Ration training workshop for food services personnel in the RFMF. The objectives of the workshop is centred on teaching participants of the new ALMS Food and Ration systems and processes, conduct a live training environment of preparing and serving the new calories-based menus.
Captain (Navy) Vaniqi mentioned that all soldiersโ health and well-being is paramount and it is vital to determine the type, quantity and quality of food they consume. He also added that it was the beginning of a new era for RFMF Logistics as the ALMS transforming the way services are processed and delivered by chefs and clerks. He based his speech on the three pillars of the food and ration module of the ALMS, which is Health & Well-Being, Ration Process & Control, and Accountability.
The workshop will be divided into two phases; the first phase includes the training of cooks and chefs which scheduled for Mon, 20 and Tue, 21 Feb 23. The second phase focuses on the administration of ALMS Module 1 which involves unit clerks which is scheduled for Wed, 22 and Thu, 23 Feb 23. The training will conclude on Fri, 24 Feb 23, where each successful candidates will receive certificates.
