The Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) Wives and Mothers Club (WMC) officially launched its 2025 Tutorial and Revision Program today (21 June, 2025) at the St. Agnes Primary School in Nabua.

While officiating the opening of the event, the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Fiji, His Excellency (H.E) Mr Zhou Jian commended the Wives and Mothers Club for their unwavering support to military families, promoting educational opportunities for children, and enhancing the overall welfare of RFMF personnel.

“The club has become vital in supporting RFMF development. The wives and mothers silently shoulder the burden of the families so their husbands or sons can stand fast at their posts, their contribution is commendable,” H.E Jian said.

H.E Jian announced a sponsorship of FJD $20,000 from the Chinese Embassy in support of the tutorial program, which will include the central, western and northern division.

“This initiative is not only an investment in education but also in the future of Fiji. May the young people of Fiji seize every learning opportunity, study hard, and use their knowledge to make Fiji stronger.” H.E Jian said.

H.E Jian concluded his speech by encouraging the children in the program to embrace learning and dream confidently.

The Tutorial and Revision Program is an annual initiative driven by the RFMF Wives and Mothers Club to provide academic support to children of military families across Fiji.
