Commander Land Force (CLF), Colonel Onisivoro Covunisaqa continues to visit troops deployed to assist the Ministry of Health Medical Services in the battle against COVID-19.
Today, Friday 10th September 2021, the CLF and his team were at the Sawani border and the Vunidawa Government Station in Naitasiri. The Naitasiri team is being led by Lieutenant Viliame Rigamoto from the RFMF Engineers. During the tour, the CLF reminded the soldiers to keep in mind the cyclone season that is approaching and thanked them for their sacrifice.
Earlier this week, Col Covunisaqa have visited the Emergency Operation Centres (EOCโs) and Forward Operating Bases (FOBโs) in Suva and Navua.
The CLF plans to complete his visit to other frontline troops by next week.
