𝗖𝗟𝗙 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗦 𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗗 𝗦𝗘𝗟𝗙 𝗖𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦𝗘

Commander Land Force Colonel Onisivoro Covunisaqa this morning (Monday 29 November) opened the Veiliutaki Framework ‘Lead Self’ seminar at the Officers Training Center in Vatuwaqa, Suva.

The Lead Self course is part of the Veiliutaki Framework that forms part of the Leadership Development System which aims to assist RFMF personnel to enhance their strategic self-awareness and self-control and explore the RFMF expectations at the Lead Self-level of leadership.

At the outset, Colonel Covunisaqa thanked the participants for availing themselves to be part of the seminar. “You will not be in that same rank in the next two to four years. Therefore, the RFMF is developing you now so when you get to that leadership position you know what to do.”

Colonel Covunisaqa also challenged the participants to apply all they’ve learned from the seminar when they return to their units. “I do hope that after this seminar you will go back to your units and lead by example. Treat others with respect and courtesy, uphold and live the ethos and values of the institution and display moral courage by doing the right thing.”

Personnel from the Logistic Support and Land Force Command Units makes up the core of course participants.
