𝗖𝗔𝗣𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡 (𝗡𝗔𝗩𝗬) 𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗧𝗢𝗡 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗖𝗟𝗨𝗗𝗘𝗦 𝗥𝗙𝗠𝗙 𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗧

Captain (Navy) Florent Mouton of the FANC Forces Armées de la Nouvelle-Calédonie #FANC today completed four days of visit at the Peace Support Operations training facility in Black Rock, Nadi.

On Tuesday 8th Feb, Captain (Navy) Mouton visited the Republic Of Fiji Navy and met with Deputy Commander RFMF Commodore Humphery Tawake. Their discussion centred on strengthening defence ties between the two defence forces and on shared security interests.

#FANC and the #RFMF have been working closely on maritime security with the successful conduct of fisheries surveillance operations targeting illegal, unregulated and unreported fishing in the Pacific.

Captain (Navy) Mouton also met the Commander Land Force, Colonel Onisivoro Covunisaqa at the Land Force Headquarters in Queen Elizabeth Barracks to review aspects of joint training between the two forces.
