The Republic of Fiji Military Forces team in the Nevada Best Warrior Competition was hosted by the Nevada National Guards at their Base in Carson City.
The team went through a week of orientation and acclimatization familiarising themselves with the environment and the weapon systems that will be used during the competition.
The competition will consist of the Army Combat Fitness Test, Tactical Combat Casualty Care, Communications, Appearance Board, weapons and Range shoot and will end with a 25km Ruck march with a 20kg loaded pack.
The 3 days competition will commence on Tuesday and will end on Thursday.
The team consists of LT Loaloa as the Team Manager, SSGT Savou as the team coach and the 4 competitors selected from the TF Units are PTE Serea, PTE Kulanikoro, PTE Matanawa and PTE Vakalasaqere.
