As Fiji prepares to celebrate 55 years of independence, members of the JTFC and Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) Battalion 44 Draft personnel, currently in their final phase of training at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF), Joint Task Force Command, Blackrock Camp, marked the occasion through a day of service and compassion.
The community outreach was carried out at Legalega Home and Loloma Home, where volunteers dedicated their time to giving back to those in need. The initiative aimed to strengthen community ties and reflect the true spirit of independenceโservice beyond self.
Draft personnel and JTFC staff assisted with maintenance work and spent quality time with residents through shared meals and activities. Their actions reflected the RFMFโs core values of ๐
