The Regular Officers Selection Board (ROSB) is currently taking place at the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF), Forces Training Group (FTG) in Nasinu, bringing together aspiring military officers for an intensive selection process. This marks a crucial stage for candidates as they undergo assessments designed to evaluate their leadership potential, mental agility, and suitability for officer training.
This phase of the selection began yesterday, with 40 candidates, including 17 female participantsโa positive step toward strengthening diversity and leadership opportunities for women within the military.
Over the course of 3 days, participants engage in a range of structured activities that test their physical and mental endurance, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork that will challenge individuals while also identifying those with the potential leadership skills best suited for the next stage of officer development.
With an additional group set to undergo the selection process next week, the ROSB continues to play a vital role in shaping the next generation of military leaders. Candidates who successfully complete this stage will move forward in their journey toward officer cadet training after the basic recruitment course, taking a significant step toward a rewarding career in service.
